What is ConsorcioTec?

ConsorcioTec is the purchasing group for regional  dealers, contractors, integrators and rental shops working in low-voltage systems for sound & lighting systems, electronic security, building automation, multimedia, networks and communications.

ConsorcioTec is signing up a least one member per every 2 million inhabitants of any given metropolitan region.

What Can You Tell Me About Rebates?

ConsorcioTec members receive rebates based upon the total purchase volume done via the group's preferred vendors.

ConsorcioTec will provide an estimate of applicant rebates if they complete and return a brief survey available on request.

What are the Discount Rates for Members?

ConsorcioTec will try to negotiate better rates for its members but all members are free to pursue their own negotiations directly with Preferred Vendors.

If an existing discount with a ConsorcioTec Preferred Vendor is more favorable, members can keep their current discount.

How Often are Rebates Paid?

Rebates are distributed to members on a quarterly basis.

What are the Membership Requirements?

Prospective members are required to complete an application to assess their current volume of business and current purchases.

ConsorcioTec members must have been in business at least 10 years; pass a basic credit check to access group financing; be affiliated with their local chamber of commerce; and have no outstanding legal matters to be adjudicated.

ConsorcioTec members must purchase a volume in products annually from the group's  Preferred Vendors, in addition to committing to making ConsorcioTec Preferred Vendors as their first option in their projects.
