It is important to note that the negotiation will always be between the integrator and the manufacturer. It seeks to make a link, but does not participate directly. There are also a number of benefits for both, which we will talk about below.

Reimbursements to integrators

Cashback

The main benefit of the integrators associated with ConsorcioTec are reimbursements. Each time they record purchases, suppliers return a percentage of them. The cuts are quarterly and once approved by the manufacturer, they are recorded directly in the associate's account.

Rebate plans range from 3 to 5 percent on recorded purchases. Each manufacturer defines its reimbursement plan and channel, that is, it can be by direct purchase, purchases through a distributor or both.

The best thing is that there is no minimum purchase cap for integrators and in that sense, all can be registered.

Max Jaramillo explains that "for example, an integrator in Costa Rica places an order with the factory and it makes the shipment. Every quarter the manufacturer makes the refund to the group and we then pass that refund to the integrator locally."

Business orientation and networking opportunities

As a way to further enhance the capacities of integrators, the network promotes the construction of bridges of communication, collaboration and growth, hand in hand with continuous training.

In that sense, ConsorcioTec organizes quarterly trainings of general interest for affiliates, with varied topics such as marketing and sales and selection of technology providers, among many others.

In addition, dedicated events are held, including ConsorcioTec Online, with talks and spaces for affiliated integrators to interact.

Agreements are also reached with international fairs where affiliates have the opportunity to participate without investing anything.

"Eventually, the idea is to bring together the integrators who are part of the consortium in order to create a community so that they do not feel isolated. The benefits of these purchasing groups are to be able to update ourselves not only on the technological part, but also on how to take the business to another level. It is essential that independent actors have somewhere to sit and talk," warns Jaramillo.

Just for registering purchases during the quarter, regardless of their value, the associated integrators are entitled to a free guideline in two specialized magazines in the sector.

These are the publications Ventas de Seguridad and AVI Latinoamérica, which are positioned as an effective bridge between integrators and the end customer.

 

 

 International agreements

Participation in the opportunities for affiliated integrators to develop projects between countries is another benefit provided by ConsorcioTec, which we call the International Referral Agreement.

Eventually, a member of the Network of Integrators for Security (PSAV Security) or the Network for Audiovisual Integrators (USAV) may require installation work in Latin American countries, so they will look for a ConsorcioTec integrator to execute their project collaboratively.

On these occasions, the group is responsible for effectively achieving this interaction between affiliates, offering the possibility for an integrator from a specific country to carry out the required task.

Preferred suppliers

The preferred suppliers are the manufacturers attached to the program, who pay the refunds for the purchases of the solutions they manufacture.

These providers have access to the affiliate database and can contact them directly at any time, in order to present their electronic security, building automation, multimedia and networking and communications solutions, among others.
The current list of preferred suppliers with which ConsorcioTec has negotiated special purchase conditions is extensive and may vary at any time.
