There are already eight integrating companies affiliated with the ConsorcioTec purchasing group for independent integrators in Latin America, with representation from Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.

The group is incorporating integrators of low-voltage systems acting in the areas of:

• Electronic Security
• Multimedia Systems
• Home automation
• Automation and Controls
• Networking, Voice and Data

... to access quarterly factory refunds, among other benefits.

ConsorcioTec seeks to create value among integrators by allowing it to be a place where companies can generate improved communications with official suppliers, have the opportunity to access education and business guidance, generate new business opportunities, and achieve high recognition through the network.

To date, the factories affiliated to the group are:

Suppliers, for their part, will have access to a network of integrators and contractors working in different industries, will be able to access enhanced member engagement to specify their products, and participate within a collaborative environment to engage the integrative community.

• The official launch is still standing for Expo Seguridad in Mexico the week of April 21 - 23 for those who are interested in knowing the initiative more closely.
