Latin America. The audiovisual and lighting integration sector in Latin America is moving forward with projects that explore new forms of interaction between technology, design and narrative. In this framework, the CALA AWARDS 2025 announced the finalists in two of its main categories: Best AV Project and Best Lighting Project in Latin America.

Finalists – Best AV Project in Latin America
One project that was chosen is that of Magnopro Soluciones Tecnológicas S.A.S., based in Bogotá, which created a multimedia system for Mercado Libre Colombia, which is used in meeting rooms, conferences and collaborative areas. With the aim of unifying audiovisual administration in business environments, centralized control and connectivity instruments were incorporated into the proposal.

In Buenos Aires, Proyecciones Digitales S.A. presented Kinetik, a digital signage system that incorporates moving LED screens. Its real-time management and synchronization with visual content offer a dynamic corporate communication experience in Prisma Medios de Pago.

The third finalist is SKYLUFT, which in Quito developed KIA EGROUND, an immersive space that combines architecture, audiovisual projections, virtual reality and interactivity. The design includes a helical tunnel inspired by natural shapes and digital experiences linked to sustainability and mobility.

Finalists – Best Lighting Project in Latin America
In the lighting category, presented in partnership with the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), two projects were selected.

The first is the Hotel Tuirak: Created by Ultimate Technology SAS in the Colombian Coffee Region, where light is energy, soul and memory.  The narrative of the project is based on the combination of ancestral symbols and nature, employing light as the main component of evocation, accompaniment and well-being.

The second finalist is Entel 360 Experience: Connecting the sky and the city, made by Trison Necsum in Santiago de Chile. The intervention transformed the Entel Tower into a digital icon through a large-scale LED screen and a synchronized architectural lighting system, turning the structure into an audiovisual support for urban visibility.

Coming soon, the winners
The winners in both categories will be announced at the virtual ceremony of the CALA AWARDS 2025, which will be held on September 18 at 10 a.m., an event that seeks to recognize the talent of companies that are redefining the role of technology in visual communication and lighting design in the region.
