The young capital of Kazakhstan is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, both in economic, medical, educational and cultural sectors.
As a sign of this progress, the city's sports infrastructures are unique and imposing, and the Martial Arts Palace is another example of the innovation that the Asian capital is developing in all its constructions.
With a total of 32,000 m2, this palace is designed to host both national and international events of all kinds of martial arts. Its main hall has 5,000 seats and is prepared for various functions and events. Facilities that have the latest and most innovative security, storage, video and especially audio facilities, thanks to the excellent work done by Infoline LLP.
With more than ten years of experience, the company was clear that DAS Audio would be the brand that was at the height of such an installation. A challenge was to achieve the right sound levels for each area, especially in the main arena, where it was essential to ensure that music and voice could be heard without any distortion given the wide space. A challenge that would offer spectators an unparalleled experience, both in any sporting event and in the rest of the rooms of the sports palace.
For the main arena, the distribution of the systems was strategically proposed to achieve a uniformity of SPL and tonality throughout the audience. Infoline LLP opted for 84 line arrays of the Event Series, specifically the Event-210A model; a 3-way self-amplified model that guarantees high pressure and intelligibility in both voice messages and music playback, making the main arena a completely versatile space. The simplicity of both the use of the system and its installation means that the maintenance and adjustment of the system does not require great efforts to generate a spectacular experience.
To complete the rest of the installation, the Factor-8-T system was presented as the best option. It is a wide-range loudspeaker that uses, for the bass track, an 8 speaker and 1.5" coil. The ferrofluid-cooled 1" soft-dome treble unit has a wide dispersion to cover large areas and offer exceptional sound quality in any room. BI Group, one of the largest construction companies in Kazakhstan and the one in charge of executing the work, was really satisfied and enthusiastic about the result of the project at the hands of Infoline LLP and the sound quality and customer service of DAS Audio. And it was not our systems that were the only ones to take their positions in the stadium, but, during construction, our engineers moved to the site to make all the relevant adjustments before executing the installation of each of the systems.
