Designed for commercial A/V installers, the Furman CN-1800S combines robust control capabilities through SmartSequencing ™ technology, advanced AC protection, AC noise filtration, and optional support for BlueBOLT® Remote Power and Energy Management Platform.
The Furman CN-1800S is one of the first products to feature our SmartSequencing ™ technology, which allows large, complex A/V systems to be safely turned on and off at the push of a button or turning a key.
With two-way communication between installed units, SmartSequencing allows a primary unit to control and sequence multiple secondary units, ensuring that multi-zone electronic systems are safely and reliably turned on and off from a single control point throughout the facility. The units can be connected via a current loop over 1,000 feet and are compatible with legacy Furman sequencing devices.
Equipped with RS-232 ports and command sets, the CN-1800S offers robust control options for integration with control systems. An optional RS-232 to Ethernet adapter (sold separately) adds full IP addressing to the unit, allowing it to be controlled, programmed, and monitored from a smartphone, tablet, PC, or any Web-enabled device via Telnet, HTTP Direct Connection, or Panamax/Furman's BlueBOLT-hosted® remote power and power management platform.
Keeping up to nine connected devices protected are our advanced power filtering and conditioning technologies from Furman. Series Multistage Protection (SMP) provides the highest level of surge and spike protection available.
Linear Filtration (LiFT) technology reduces AC noise linearly over a very wide bandwidth for unmatched audio and video clarity. The Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) circuit is safely turned off and the equipment connected during periods of unsafe voltage.
