In pursuit of generating more and better partnerships that will become project enhancers for its integrating members, ConsorcioTec last month signed an agreement to enter the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association CHTA, an association representing approximately 500 hotel properties in the region.
It is important to note that the CHTA is dedicated to excellence in hospitality, leadership in marketing and the sustainable growth of tourism, so it also contributes to the benefit of its members and the Caribbean community at large.
In this sense, the members of the CHTA represent an important spectrum of the private sector of the hotel industry, made up of around 500 hotels, members of 35 national hotel associations, through allied members, among which are airline executives, tour operators, travel agents, commercial and consumer press, as well as suppliers of hotels and restaurants, among others.
However, this alliance was possible thanks to the support of the preferred providers of the SONY Professional program and DAS Audio, who supported the application and also joined the company of ConsorcioTec.
Opportunities and impact of the alliance
Vanessa Ledesma, CEO of CHTA, explained that her association is the voice of the caribbean tourism private sector, as it is responsible for representing the hospitality and tourism industry through 33 destinations that make up the membership.
In that sense, he indicated ConsorcioTec's entry demonstrates to hotels and other industry stakeholders its commitment to the development and continuous growth of tourism in the Caribbean, in addition to generating benefits, such as increasing the capacity of the purchasing group to establish contacts, strengthen commercial relationships and create new ones.
"ConsorcioTec's participation in CHTA facilitates connectivity with individuals in various facets of the hospitality industry, increasing its network in the Caribbean. Similarly, this gives you access to resources such as webinars and the information center."
Max Jaramillo, Chief Integrator Advocate of ConsorcioTec, spoke about the alliance:
"We continue to seek to create value for our integrative affiliates and for the factories that support us. We hope through the agreement with CHTA we can be a link for the needs of Caribbean hoteliers."
For his part, Claudius Bezerra, Marketing Manager at Sony for Latin America, commented:
"We are excited to join chta through the support of ConsorcioTec. We see it as a great opportunity to expand our communication to the hospitality segment in the Caribbean for products and solutions geared towards this industry."
In conclusion, this new alliance represents a commercial opening and great business possibilities for the integrators members of the purchasing group. As well as it has been figured as a business opportunity and positioning for the sony and Das Audio brands.
