Since the launch of the DT 49 hearing aids in 1953, Beyerdynamic has been an undisputed reference worldwide for these products. Today, almost seventy years later, the brand surprises us with the third generation of the already classic T1 and T5.
These devices are handmade in Heilbronn, Germany. In addition, they present the acclaimed and very prestigious TESLA technology patented by Beyerdynamic, which delivers very high efficiency drivers, with a remarkable impedance coupling capacity and high sound resolution.
All this is achieved because each headset is developed, manufactured and measured individually at the German headquarters, where, after these processes, they will be combined to ensure that both sides of the hearing aids have the best pairing. The result is extreme precision and particularly spacious sound.
Design and technical performance
Its design features a robustly perforated and precise pattern on the housing of the open-design T1 headphones, and another that prevents sound from leaking in or out of the earpiece. For its part, the closed model T5, ensures that, in any case, the hearing aids not only sound light and transparent, but also see and feel in the same way.
For this third generation the frequency response is 5-50,000 Hz with an impedance of 32 ohms, which allows the headphones to be used with different audio sources, without the forced need to use an amplifier for it.
Its circumaural design is provided with breathable velvet pads and replaceable with memory foam provide unparalleled comfort when using the hearing aids even for long periods of time. Finally, the use of Alcantara gives the T1 and T5 an element that makes it a high-end headphone set.
It is also important to note that each model is provided with a straight cable of 1.40 m. of OCC 7N copper, textile braiding, 3.5 mm connector and adapter for 6.3 mm, as well as a hard case for safe transport and care.
