The end of 2023 was difficult for all sectors of the Argentine economy, including the AV industry. Alejandro Arena, commercial manager of Soundtec, pointed out that 2024 began with some of these difficulties solved or in the process of being solved.

"And we have the promise of a new government that promises to seriously improve the country's economic conditions, which generated a lot of optimism in the market, which quickly began to dust off the portfolios of projects that had to be shelved in the past and that encouraged many others to be encouraged to face new projects. Fortunately, this demand has been growing during these first months," he said.

Regarding the sectors that are demanding more AV technology, the Soundtec executive pointed out that the demand is quite fragmented in the different sectors in which it operates.

"Beyond the fact that we can specialize in one sector or another, the demand is quite homogeneous. Every day it is a more tangible reality that audiovisual technology is everywhere and that the barriers are more budgetary than philosophical, when it comes to incorporating it. The client is less and less questioning the need for AV technology and in many cases it is being considered as one of the pillars of the projects. All segments need to communicate and AV technology is essentially a very efficient communication tool, so this is a process that will only grow," Arena points out.

In terms of sustainability, Alejandro Arena indicated that Soundtec has implemented some initiatives to promote it in its operations and products. Some of these initiatives are, for example, energy-efficient technology with prioritization of the use of low-energy equipment, recycling and waste management, as well as promotion of working from home to reduce emissions.

In addition, these actions are accompanied by a commitment to continue exploring new ways to reduce environmental impact and contribute positively to the care of the planet.
