According to Nice, the update will allow end users to access Sonos' new search features for the Nice Home Management platform.

Nice, a global provider of home and building management solutions, announced a new integration with Sonos for its home management platform. The integration, which is verified by the Works with Sonos program, ensures seamless compatibility for installers and end customers alike across all Nice products.
"The opportunity to integrate Sonos search capabilities into our home management platform helps us deliver streamlined services that fulfill our mission of simplifying our customers' daily movements," said Larry Cramp, product manager for Nice North America.
As a complement to the existing Sonos Control API, content can now be searched within multiple Nice home management products with:
- Expanded Functionality and Control: This update simplifies navigation and speeds up access to supported music service partners' preferred content on partner touchscreens, with support for search, favorites, playlists, and recent plays.
- Soundtrack every scene: Using the existing Control API, Sonos music can be synced with lights, shadows, and more to deliver a more cohesive and immersive experience that complements the lifestyle of end users. These scenes can be applied on all interfaces of a compatible control system, expanding Sonos' ability to stream music throughout your home.
"We are pleased to have Nice join our network of partners so that together we can deliver more integrated solutions to our customers together," said Casey Clemens, senior director, Sonos Americas Professional. "By implementing our new Search API into Nice's suite of trusted home management products, we are working together to improve the interoperability of devices within the home and create a more seamless and intuitive experience for the end user."
