The ARES5A is a 2-way active speaker system consisting of an active and a passive unit that connect to each other. It offers an easy and flexible solution for a wide variety of applications, producing clear and powerful sound.

Clear and powerful sound experience
This 2-way speaker is carefully built with high-quality components using a 5 1/4" woofer and a 1/2" high-frequency tweeter. This craftsmanship, in combination with an integrated DSP, creates an extremely clear and powerful sound experience for a wide range of applications.
Unique look of AUDAC
We have ensured that the solution design is tailored to the rest of audac's product portfolio. Thanks to its ABS housing and the fact that the mounting bracket is aesthetically integrated into the cabinet itself, the ARES offers a more elegant and modern look than other solutions on the market.
Energy efficiency
When in normal operation, the 2-way speaker, including the integrated 2 X 40W amplifier, goes into standby mode after 20 minutes of idle, which significantly reduces power consumption and makes it energy Star compliant. A switch on the back of the device allows us to turn this audio standby mode on and off when needed.
Multiple entries
On the back of the ARES5A you will find the input options that our 2-way speaker has. This includes an unbalanced 3.5mm stereo jack connector, while balanced sources can be connected to the terminal block input connector. Later this year we will launch optional remote wall panels that will allow you to further expand the input options.
Versatile mounting possibilities
As expected, we have also looked for both aesthetic and easy-to-use installation possibilities for this speaker. The system of brackets included as standard allows to install the speakers near the wall with an inclination of up to 45° and even in the corners. The optional set of MBK455 angular brackets allows for an additional tilt of 90° when needed.
