Growth of ConsorcioTec 2020 to 2021

The success of ConsorcioTec can be measured by the words and achievements of the affiliates, but also by the indicators, which, a little more than two years after the start of this program, give clear signs of its positive impact.

ConsorcioTec, as an ecosystem of loyalty for the purchase of technology, was officially born in 2019, where the reasons for joining, such as the reimbursement from manufacturers and the possibility of growth by international referral agreements, were an undeniable attraction. But then the historical conjuncture of 2020, which transformed the way of life and paralyzed trade globally, generated an impact on all sectors. Although this group of purchases was no exception, it surprisingly managed to advance in this period of economic recession, demonstrating that the scope of its value offer and the benefit for its members was greater than the temporary difficulties of the market.

In this sense, it is consistent that, in 2021, ConsorcioTec's indicators rebounded, since that was a year in which the opening of interaction sites and events was resumed, also characterized by the fact that organizations and individuals verified the importance of biosecurity and access control in their spaces; being both situations related to the multimedia and security systems industries, precisely the current offer that covers the offer of ConsorcioTec suppliers.

Let's talk in figures

The growth in the number of affiliates in 2021, compared to 2020, was 22.81%, where integrators who focus on video surveillance and security systems take the lead with an increase of 38.89%, with those dedicated to audio and video solutions coming in second place with an increase of 15.38%. However, of these new affiliates, the country with the highest participation was Mexico, followed by Chile, Colombia and the United States.

Registered purchases showed an increase of 683.67%. However, not all were approved for reimbursement. To explain this particular situation it is indicated to comment that, unfortunately, in many cases the authorized channel was not used, therefore although the amount of purchases rose significantly, cashback could not be managed, hence the importance of affiliates carefully reading the Benefits Guide.

In contrast to the above, the growth of international reference agreement was the second highest indicator for this period, standing at 485.55%. Data that shows the advantages for integrators to work in cooperation at an international level through ConsorcioTec, a situation in which they add installed capacity abroad, take tenders and can add to their list of experience projects that, otherwise, they would not have been able to carry out.
