After acquiring Nortek Security & Control in 2021, Nice is focused on strengthening its position in North America, by converging its product portfolio towards a unified brand.

The process is part of the company's plans to offer a complete and integrated product ecosystem for residential, commercial and perimeter protection applications.

By focusing on home management solutions first, we are equipped to begin convergence and develop a more end-to-end end-to-end solution for homes and businesses."

New audio solutions
The company also announced the launch of a new series of audio devices, which was presented within the framework of CEDIA Expo 2023, a specialized home technology fair.

Nice indicated that the new references in its catalog are the SC-IC3 small aperture speaker, the SC-IC-SUB8 small aperture subwoofer, the SC4-100 4-channel amplifier, the SB-40P soundbar and the AIM Mk3 series of architectural speakers.

This is Nice's first series of advanced audio solutions, following the company's transition with brands such as SpeakerCraft, ELAN and Panamax.

SC-IC3 Small Aperture Speaker
It allows for different installation options, with round and square grids included, as well as flush mounting kits. The high-performance 3.5" ceiling speaker features a carbon fiber woofer, a 1" aluminum tweeter, and a custom crossover design to deliver dynamic sound through a 4.75" aperture.

SC-IC-SUB8 Small Aperture Subwoofer
It reproduces best-in-class bass through a small aperture and features filtering circuitry that eliminates unwanted frequencies, a custom woofer, and dual 1 1/2" voice coils that result in optimal performance.

SC4-100 4-Channel Analog Filtering Amplifier
Designed for flexibility and convenience in distributed audio and home entertainment applications. Powerful, easy to set up and install, the SC4-100 delivers up to 100 watts of power to each of four independent, pair-bridgeable channels, allowing for a 2-, 3-, or 4-channel setup.

In addition, each channel has two selectable analog high-pass filters to optimize the performance of connected satellite speakers or subwoofers, without the hassle of DSP or IP. Independent level control, individual indicators, audio detection, and input and output triggers round off the feature set.

SB-40P Soundbar
With its 3 channels, it reproduces exceptional and dynamic sound, with an independent central camera that improves the clarity of dialogue and left and right cameras that create a wide soundstage for music and movies. The combination of graphite, polypropylene and carbon fibre materials produces exceptionally clear and dynamic sound, perfect for a standalone home entertainment solution or integrated into a complete home audio system.
