The first and largest independent integration consortium in Latin America has just partnered with AV-iQ, thanks to which the members of the purchasing group have been included in the global database, managed by the portal.
The agreement, presented during the recent CIX and CEDIA fairs in Denver, Colorado, strengthens the positioning of the 92 integrators belonging to ConsorcioTec, since the AV-iQ database facilitates the location of qualified distributors and contractors throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, including Brazil.
"Our priority is always to seek the creation of more value for our members," said Víctor Alarcón, Project Manager of ConsorcioTec. "In addition to our incentive and rebate programs for preferred suppliers, we want to generate new business opportunities. The AV-iQ platform gives our members greater visibility both in North America and elsewhere."
ConsorcioTec: a growth story
Launched in 2021, ConsorcioTec has the support of important integration groups based in the United States, such as PSA Security and EDGE (formerly known as USAV).
The consortium promotes best practices among group buyers and acts as a bridge for their international growth. In addition, the inclusion of APAC-owned Tsi Hub investor group managed by Andy Tan in Singapore has enabled the implementation of an international partner program (IPP) with truly global coverage.
Mark Loftus, director of AV-iQ, said: "For a long time we have believed that AV-iQ can and should be a global resource, rather than a platform that serves only North America. As a great first step, we have partnered with ConsorcioTec to include all of its members in our localization function."
The executive added that "making these lists available to our users in the Caribbean and Latin America brings us closer to having a resource for visitors from these regions, helping them find local suppliers of the products and solutions they need."
